My family has owned property at Badin Lake since 1954. They loved the area and our family still remains. I cherish this home and its lake view. It has access to great fishing nestled in the humble community of New London, NC. I am a semi-retired business owner and love growing my orchids when I am not traveling or spending time with my family. The time I do spend at the lake is cherished. However, when I am away, I hope that it can be comforting to others, as well. My home is quaint, well appointed and perfect for folks that enjoy quiet surroundings and spending time relaxing in nature.

This home is situated up on a hill across the street from the lake shore. The front porch has recently been screened in, so the bugs won’t bite. The view shows off beautiful sunrises over the lake and the moon shimmering on the water at night.
Carpeting throughout. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Master bedroom has King-sized Sleep Number bed. Guest bedroom has very comfortable queen bed. Separate dining room with bay window. Kitchen has an eat in nook and is completely stocked with everything you need to make a home cooked meal or to just heat up leftovers from the restaurant. Reclining theater chairs in the family room are just right for watching TV or a movie. Separate living room area. Outdoor grill (propane) on site. Full list of amenities available here.
The main driveway is only for regular vehicles, it is very steep. Feel free to bring your boat or personal water craft. There is a circle drive way in front of home where you can park your boat and trailer. The community has a private boat launch with separate parking for vehicles and trailers off property. The boat launch is approx. 5 minutes from house. You are not allowed to leave your vehicle and trailer at the boat ramp, however there is a parking lot up the street. Go a couple more blocks and there is a community fishing pier. More details available upon booking.

There is a strict NO SMOKING policy. NO PETS (Arrangements may be made in advance for special circumstances. Pre-approval by the owner is required.) The property is not well suited for children under 12yrs of age. Cleaning fee applies.
